Milestones of Trust

Our management trustee Dr. Aacha Arumugasamy and Dr. Sujatha together started Sri Kumaran health Centre pvt ltd in 2002 at a place where poor people are living and free services are needed. Hence they began Sri Kumaran charitable trust in 2007.After prolonged discussion and sacrifice our founder Mr. Chinna Durai gave decision to go ahead and we are providing free services to people in Retteri Sri Kumaran hospital and Redhills Sri Kumaran maternity hospital.Recently Redemptive recovery care has been added and they conduct free medical camps in rural villages.

The SRI KUMARAN SCHOOL OF NURSING was started in 2012 which was approved by the GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU vide G.O M.S NO: 22. It is recognized by the INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL and the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives council. It is set in a beautiful ambience with attached hostel facilities and located in Redhills Chennai-52. The school offers 3 years course in Diploma in General Nursing and midwifery with annual intake of 20 students.

To provide outstanding clinical and surgical care to people who are not affordable.And provide education to poor people are the goals of the trust.

The studentsare involved in various programmes like world health day, Nurses day celebration,Child Health day, world Kidney day, World leprosy day,World Osteoporosis day, Women’s day conducted by Retteri Sri Kumaran Health Centre PVT Ltd.

Skill Training

As a part of our activity we conducted skill training to men and women self help group members. Initially an assessment was done to know the need and interest of the group members. Handgraft, flowers, hand jar, paper making training were given. Skill training experts conducted the training. For the convenience of the members 30-50 trainings were conducted in Redemptive Recovery care at Redhills. Each training 30 men and women are participated. The participants requested for more such type of trainings as it was quiet needed for them. On a whole 500 self help group women were benefitted by this programme.
